An Overview of Randall Shelton’s Professional Career & Accomplishments

Randall Shelton has about three decades of experience in auxiliary administrations, business development, and private sector business ownership. He is an M.S. degree holder in Institutional Management from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater. He also completed his B.S. in Accounting with concentration in Business Law & Management from the same university.

Randall Shelton started his professional career in 1981, serving as a Senior Food Service Coordinator at Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma. He also handled the role of a Purchasing Specialist and Manager of Food Services while working with the University. In the coming years, he served various positions at top Universities and colleges of America. Some of the roles he served are - Director of Dining Services at The Wichita State University, Wichita, Kansas; Director of Dining Services at Georgetown College, Georgetown Kentucky; Director of Auxiliary Services at Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, OK; and Assistant Vice President of Auxiliary Operations at Kennesaw State University, Kennesaw, GA.

While serving these prestigious positions, Randall Shelton successfully completed many major tasks and received awards for the same. His recent achievement is “The 2015 University Administrator of the Year” award, which was given to him for his great contribution at Kennesaw State University. For the year 2013, he received the “Operator Innovator of the Year” Award for leading the University’s culinary team to the nation’s top foodservice program as recognized by the National Restaurant Association. He also developed & awarded the largest foodservice RFP for $60 million, with $14 million in cash contribution. In 2002, he received Outstanding Administrator of the Year Award for his various contributions at Ohio University.
