Randall Shelton Has Earned An Impeccable Reputation For His Commendable Work In Administrative Field

Randall Shelton is an administrative expert with many years of experience and achievements under his belt. He worked with Kennesaw State University where he led the Culinary team to the number one foodservice program in the nation as recognized by the National restaurant Association, winning the Operator Innovator of the Year Award for 2013. Also, he developed and awarded the largest Foodservice RFP for $60 million, with $14 million in cash contribution.  Re-organized the entire parking and transportation system to increase revenues and reduce costs. He redeveloped bookstore operations and added text book rentals, online course materials, as well as several online coop textbook programs to increase revenue and reduce costs to students by $1.4 million per year. 

While working at Northeastern State University, he developed RFP and led the development process for a campus housing master plan for housing replacement and renovation.  He also completed a full renovation plan for the food service areas.  He prepared the Stage 1 of the remodel of the Market Cafeteria which began in the year 2012. 

Randall Shelton is a Certified Facilitator and Corporate Trainer at Performance Training institute. He has also given lectures in Destiny Seminars International, Toronto, Ontario. Owing to his decades of experience and dedication, he gained expertise in many areas of administration. He has great leadership and problem solving skills. he has great knowledge of business culture and personal empowerment. After working and supervising different teams at different jobs, he learned the knack for handling and managing team, so he learned team building skills and how to encourage them towards achieving the goal effectively and efficiently using all the resources. Randall Shelton has served as the Assistant Vice President of Auxiliary Operations at KSU for four years

Randall Shelton is the former Assistant Vice President of Auxiliary Operations at Kennesaw State University (KSU), Kennesaw, GA. He worked here for four years and efficiently handled all auxiliary operations of the University’s two campuses with a student population of 33, 000. While serving at this position, Randall was responsible for the operational areas of bookstore operations, culinary services, franchise operations, transportation, parking, campus ID card administration, student union operations, student health clinics, mail services, and marketing, maintenance and custodial in auxiliary areas. In addition to these tasks, he was responsible for all capital projects in the division and master plan development. 

In 2015, Randall Shelton received the University Administrator of the Year Award in recognition of his accomplishments. Randall Shelton Is an Atlanta Based Administrative Professional with 35 Years of Experience

Randall Shelton is an Atlanta based well-seasoned professional with over 35 years of experience in auxiliary administration and business development. He is also a Certified Facilitator and Corporate Trainer at Performance Training Institute in Destiny Seminars International, Toronto, Ontario. He graduated towards M.S. in Institutional Management from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma.  Prior to this, he has done B.S. in Accounting with concentrations in Business Law and Management, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma in the year 1978. 

Randall Shelton earlier served the position of Assistant Vice President of Auxiliary Operations at Kennesaw State University. Here, he was responsible for all auxiliary operations at a major State University, with two campuses and a student population of 33,000. One of his most recent achievements is the “The 2015 University Administrator of the Year” award, which he received in acknowledgement of his commendable work. In 2013, he won the Operator Innovator of the Year Award for leading the culinary team to the nation’s top food service program (as recognized by the National Restaurant Association).

Randall Shelton served as the Assistant Vice President of Auxiliary Operations for Kennesaw State University for almost four years. During this time-period, he brought many improvements in the University through his innovative initiatives. He re-organized the entire parking and transportation system to increase revenues and reduce costs.  He also redeveloped the book store operations and added text book rentals, online course materials, & many online coop textbook programs. This resulted in an increase in the revenue and cost reduction for students by $1.4 million per year. Later, he restructured the student health clinics into full service medical urgent care clinic, and also led the transition of the entire campus to Blackboard and Blackboard Transact systems.

Before joining as the Assistant Vice President of Auxiliary Operations at KSU, Randall Shelton served as the Director of Auxiliary Services at Northeastern State University, Tahlequah.  Here, he was responsible for managing all auxiliary operations of three campuses and a student population of 10, 000. He supervised the operational areas of Housing and Residential Life, Food Service, Motor Pool, Vending, Maintenance, Book store, Custodial, Grounds and landscape, Fitness Centre, Campus Events, Student Union, Campus Printing Service, Mail Services and Post Office. Additionally, he managed the budgets, human resources, technology, as well as capital projects.
